Collector Information & Authenticity

The Atlantic PeriodAfter years away from painting, Balazs Varkonyi–Vidakovich returned to the canvas with a renewed artistic vision. His earlier works explored figurative, symbolic and historical themes, including pieces exhibited internationally and represented on major international art platforms.Today, a new body of work is emerging. The Atlantic Period is centred on memory, heritage and the shared cultural history of the Atlantic coast. Rather than documenting places, these paintings explore what remains after generations have passed — traces of communities, forgotten stories, maritime traditions and collective remembrance. The ocean appears not merely as landscape, but as a witness. Each work forms part of an ongoing visual archive dedicated to the enduring memory of coastal life.
